    When they first proposed it, I found
    it to be a very curious work.

    directions, about how to approach it,

    before starting up.

    I'd done opening and ending themes
    for various anime in the past,

    An opening theme has to sort of
    summarize the show as a whole.

    So you want to do something

    that really impresses on
     people what the show is like.

    It was nerve-wracking, but I gave it my best.
